Markwell is the Premier Source of Industrial Packaging Solutions to Manufacturers in the Southeastern U.S. Latin American and the Caribbean

Markwell began in 1919 as a manufacturer of industrial marking products – hence the name “Mark-well.”  The company’s first product, the #150 industrial crayon was manufactured up until 2005.  Markwell’s first foray into tools came in the mid 1920’s with the development of the first ever manual stapler tacker – the Markwell 176.  Shortly after,  Markwell commissioned the Boston Wire Stitcher Company (known today as Bostitch) to make the first ever one handed spring operated squeeze tacker.  This was the beginning of a long standing relationship with Bostitch that still holds strong today.
